Germany have left a plethora of stars out of their youthful squad for the championship but will still field a talented pool in Poland.

Despite the absence of Leroy Sane and Leon Goretzka, the Germans remain one of the favourites to lift the trophy.

The under-21 outfit usually employ a back three but could revert to a traditional four due to absentees.

According to WhoScored.comMitchell Weiser and Thilo Kehrer will battle for a berth at full-back, while Maximilian Arnold captains the side from midfield. Nadiem Amiri and Mahmoud Dahoud could also make starts for Germany.

The Czech team are short of numbers, and their lack of options could stunt their challenge in the group stages.

Per WhoScored, Vaclav Cerny should feature, with the Ajax prospect offering his side a quality outlet. Patrik Schick will be expected to add the firepower, and he will need to be in top form if his team are to claim a result.

Germany will be expected to claim three points with ease in Tychy, with the Czechs struggling to match their quality across the pitch.

The presence of Schick gives the Czech team a puncher's chance, but it is likely they will suffer defeat at the hands of the superior side.
