MailOnline's Simon Jones revealed Costa will sign for Juve from Bayern Munich on an initial loan set to cost £5 million, but the fee could rise to £35 million if the deal becomes permanent.
Costa was welcomed to the club on Twitter by former Bayern centre-back Medhi Benatia:
The move brings an end to a two-season spell at the Allianz Arena for Costa following his £21 million move to Bayern from Shakhtar Donetsk in July 2015.
Earlier today, Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge revealed the two clubs were in "serious talks" about Costa, per ESPN.co.uk's Ben Gladwell: "We are in negotiations and I would say these are positive and very serious, but I cannot say it is a done deal today."
Costa has likely been deemed surplus to requirements after Bayern agreed a deal to sign Real Madrid wide forward James Rodriguez on a two-year loan, per BBC Sport.
