Corentin Tolisso, Bayern Munich Agree to 5-Year Contract After Arrival from Lyon

Bayern Munich have signed Corentin Tolisso on a five-year deal after the Bundesliga champions confirmed the Frenchman's arrival from Lyon.

The team announced the player's signing via their official Twitter account, with the 22-year-old midfielder now set to play in Bavaria.

The France international exits the Ligue 1 side after 10 years in Lyon—he joined their youth setup in 2007.

The versatile individual can also fill in at full-back, offering Bayern a quality alternative in a couple of positions.

The No. 8 was impressive for his club as they made a strong run in the UEFA Europa League, scoring two and providing one assist in eight games. In all contests, he featured 47 times and netted 14, according to WhoScored.com.

Tolisso further strengthens manager Carlo Ancelotti's hand, adding youth and potential to Bayern's dynamic squad.
