Kickboxing Match Ends with Fans Storming Ring Following Controversial KO

Things got very strange then very scary on Saturday evening at Glory 42.

After a back-and-forth first round between Murthel Groenhart and Harut Grigorian, an early exchange was met with an odd nonchalance from Grigorian, who seemingly turned his back and began walking back to his corner. Groenhart took advantage of this and landed a haymaker that knocked Grigorian out cold and left him badly bloodied.

It was an unusual end to the fight, but unfortunately, nobody had the opportunity to analyze or digest the finish as multiple fans jumped into the ring and began attacking Groenhart.

Despite the attack and despite the lingering questions about what happened, Groenhart officially took the win via knockout. However, after the fight, Groenhart said his jaw might be broken from the attack, per Bloody Elbow's Mookie Alexander.
