Bryce Harper Loses Helmet, Hits Cover Off Baseball

Washington Nationals superstar Bryce Harper probably imagined ripping the cover off a baseball would go differently than it did during Thursday's game vs. the Baltimore Orioles at Nationals Park.
While facing Baltimore's Alec Asher early in the contest, Harper fouled a pitch into the dirt and out of play.
The 24-year-old managed to accomplish something noteworthy, however, as he lifted a portion of the ball's cover in the process.

Insult was added to the strike, though, as Harper's helmet spun from his head and onto the dirt behind him.
