Chase Anderson Joins 3 Other Pitchers in Milwaukee Brewers History
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson fired 7.2 scoreless frames against the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday evening, allowing six hits and a walk while striking out four hitters.
It marked Anderson's third straight scoreless outing of at least seven innings, joining only three other Brewers pitchers who can claim the same, per Baseball Reference. Only Cal Eldred in 1992, Teddy Higuera in 1987 and Moose Haas in 1983 have equaled his achievement.
Anderson's scoreless start dropped his ERA on the season to 2.94 and improved his record to 5-1 through 12 starts. The stretch on the mound followed a rough patch in which he allowed four or more runs in four of a five-start span from April 28 to May 21.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
The 29-year-old hurler's performance on the mound this season has assisted the Brewers to the best record in the NL Central. Following Wednesday's action, which included a Brewers victory and a Chicago Cubs loss, Milwaukee again sits alone atop the NL Central standings.
Considering the team entered the season in a rebuilding phase, the Brewers have made the best of the roster and have received some unexpected contributions from both hitters and pitchers.
A month remains until the All-Star break, but, if Anderson continues to perform well on the mound, he could earn himself a spot in the Midsummer Classic.
