Brandon Boykin Signs with Ravens After 1 Year with Bears
The Baltimore Ravens signed cornerback Brandon Boykin to add depth to their secondary, his agent Ken Sarnoff announced Monday.
As Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun noted, he could replace Tavon Young, who tore his ACL while taking part in team activities.
Boykin spent all of last season on injured reserve with a pectoral injury.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Boykin spent time with the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears in 2016, but hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since 2015.
When healthy, the 26-year-old cornerback was a consistent contributor for the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers. He appeared in all 64 possible games from 2012-15, mostly playing in the slot. His best season came in 2013 when he tallied six interceptions for the Eagles.
The Ravens had a solid secondary last season that helped the team finish ninth in passing yards allowed, although Young was a big part of that success.
Pro Football Focus broke down the young player's rookie year:
Boykin and first-round draft pick Marlon Humphrey will try to keep the unit running smoothly.
