Adrien Broner vs. Mikey Garcia Fight Date, TV Info Announced

Adrien Broner and Mikey Garcia have reached a deal to fight in the main event of a July 29 card on Showtime. 

Per BoxingScene.com, Garcia will move up in weight to 140 pounds for his bout against Broner. 

Broner sports a 33-2 career record with one no-contest. His most recent victory came in February over Adrian Granados via split decision. His only two losses came against Marcos Maidana in a 147-pound title fight and a catchweight bout against Shawn Porter. 

Garcia last fought in January, when he defeated Dejan Zlaticanin with a third-round knockout to capture the WBC lightweight title. The 29-year-old brings a 36-0 career record into his matchup with Broner, including 30 victories by knockout or TKO.
