
Yoenis Cespedes Leaves Game vs. Cubs with Heel Injury
New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes continues to struggle staying on the field after injuring his heel against the Chicago Cubs on Monday, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.
Cespedes missed the entire month of May while dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered during a game against the Atlanta Braves. The two-time All-Star was hitting .270/.373/.619 when he went down and leaves a huge hole in New York's lineup.

He suffered a brief setback while on a rehab assignment May 26 when he experience soreness in his quad.
The Mets have been going with an outfield of Curtis Granderson, Jay Bruce and Michael Conforto when Cespedes hasn't been healthy enough to play.
This season has been a struggle for the Mets, who are in second place in the National League East despite having a losing record. The prolonged absence of Cespedes has only made their quest to get back in the playoff race more difficult.
