LaMelo Ball Scores 50 Points in AAU Basketball Loss

LaMelo Ball bounced back from a rough performance to post 50 points in AAU action Sunday.

Because of his family's public prominence, observers ridiculed the 15-year-old after Saturday's 109-57 loss to the Compton Magic. Highlights emerged with some of the high school sophomore's misses, leading social media users to cruelly mock the younger brother of top NBA prospect Lonzo Ball.

LaMelo—who scored 92 points in a February game for Chino Hills High School—recorded 50 points during Sunday's Magic Memorial Day Festival, but his Big Ballers still suffered a 94-90 loss to the California-based Bobcats.
