Twitter Reacts to Cavaliers' 44-Point Game 2 Victory over Celtics
At least it's over.
The Cleveland Cavaliers clobbered the Boston Celtics on Friday night, taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals with a 130-86 victory at TD Garden. The final score may not even do the thrashing justice; Cleveland entered intermission up 41 in a historically one-sided affair.
Rather than analyze the annihilation, TNT's Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith played cards during Inside the NBA's halftime show.

Since social media enjoys watching others suffer, onlookers relentlessly mocked the Celtics' lackadaisical performance. Isaiah Thomas gave them easy material by saying the Cavaliers are "not the Monstars" after Game 1.
Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown also felt Twitter's wrath for calling LeBron James "just a regular guy."
Twitter users took the opportunity to rehash the same memes, with a few original jokes in the mix.
