Derek Jeter Tells His Young Nephew He'd Let Him Wear His No. 2 for Yankees

On Sunday night, the New York Yankees officially retired Derek Jeter's No. 2.

That's a tough break for the next generation of ballplayers who would love to be a Yankee and pay tribute to a legend by wearing his number in pinstripes.

Except for one person.

Jeter's nephew, Jalen Jeter Martin, asked his uncle if he could wear the No. 2 when he plays for the Yankees. At first, the Captain had some fun explaining what retiring a number means...but then he decided he could make an exception.

Just another classic moment between Jalen and Derek.
