IPL Results 2017: Latest Scores, Points Table and Updated T20 Cricket Schedule
Delhi Daredevils sealed their fourth win in five matches after beating Rising Pune Supergiant by seven runs on Friday, leaving their guests stranded third in the 2017 Indian Premier League Twenty20 standings.
Karun Nair notched the joint-highest score of the day following his early 64 for the Daredevils, and it was ultimately Delhi's superior spread of runs across the order that saw them through to victory.
Manoj Tiwary matched Nair's tally of 64 and helped Pune put up a respectable fight in their efforts to chase down their hosts, but strong bowling performances from Zaheer Khan and Mohammed Shami helped seal the spoils for Delhi.
While two points don't mean much for the Daredevils, who cannot make it into the play-offs, Rising Pune Supergiant will be dismayed to have lost their chance to climb two points above Kolkata Knight Riders and up to second in the table.
Read on for a breakdown of the updated Indian Premier League T20 standings, complete with a recap of Friday's sole result and a look toward this weekend's fixtures as the regular season comes to a close.

Recap
Victory at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Friday would have been enough to take Rising Pune Supergiant level on points with Mumbai Indians at the top of the standings, but the in-form Daredevils had other plans in mind.
Delhi supporters may find it typical that their side have found their best patch of form when it counts for so little, but Khan praised the display and spoke of the need for endeavour irrespective of their fate, per ESPNcricinfo:
"Important to keep winning, put up a good show. This was a different kind of wicket, we were aiming for 170. 180-190 would be a bonus. We always knew spinners will be in play. We've always been in the game, the schedule in a way should have worked in our favour. The length which I hit was perfect, Rahane committed to the stroke."
It was thanks to Nair's boost of 64 runs that Delhi were able to amass a score of 168 for eight, but it was Pune powerhouse Ben Stokes who stole the show with an all-action performance in both innings.
The Englishman tied team-mate and fellow top wicket-taker Jaydev Unadkat with two dismissals before taking to the bat, and CricTracker could only marvel at Stokes' contributions in all aspects:
It wasn't enough to claw back what would have been an essential two points, which was particularly excruciating considering the chances Delhi gifted their foes.
Nair was guilty of a criminal offence when Pune were around 50 runs off their chase, catching a free catch from Tiwary's long slog to prevent team-mate Khan from collecting a third wicket of the day.
Fortunately for him, his team-mates were stringent enough in their bowling that Pune were restricted to just 161 runs after 20 overs, even with MS Dhoni entering the field right at the death.
Nair's outing didn't come without its own highlights of course, per Cricbuzz, and the 25-year-old should be remembered more for the positives he displayed in the wake of victory:
As things stand, three teams can now finish the regular season level on points this weekend. Kolkata are set to host Mumbai on Saturday as they trail the leaders by two points, while Pune will host Kings XI Punjab on Sunday knowing a win would take them to 18 points.
Tensions are at an all-time high entering the final days of the 2017 Indian Premier League campaign, with the play-off entrants all but decided heading into Sunday's regular-season climax.
