Georgia Bulldogs at Tennessee Vols: Predictions
I had the hardest time finding a second Georgia blog that had a prediction. The Bleacher Report (my usual source) had three or four articles on the game, but no one picked a score. So I had to pick another neutral blog. Regardless, here’s the predictions to consider for this week’s matchup. Oh and Arian Foster’s getting stuffed on the right, I thought this was supposed to be a Tennessee fan blog?!
| Website | Georgia Score | Tennessee Score |
| My Prediction | 17 | 21 |
| Rocky Top Talk | 24 | 30 |
| UT Bleacher Report | 17 | 24 |
| Bubba n’ Earl | 31 | 17 |
| SEC Sports Report | 27 | 16 |
| SEC Rivals | 14 | 16 |
| SEC Sports Hub | 26 | 23 |
| Average | 22 (22.2) | 21 |
Percentage picked Georgia: 43%
Percentage picked Tennessee: 57%
Largest point margin: Bubba n’ Earl - 14
Smallest Point Margin: SEC Rivals – 2
Oddly enough, though Tennessee was picked to win by more blogs, they lose when the blogs are averaged together. Apparently, people think that Tennessee isn’t going to win with a heavy offensive attack, surprise surprise. I don’t see Georgia scoring more than around 24 points against a Tennessee defense that’s only giving up an average of 25 points in SEC games, and this Georgia offense isn’t of the same caliber as the Gators or Auburn. But that’s why we all make predictions, to see what happens, I know Vol fans don’t really care what the score is as long as Tennessee is on top.
