Four TDs Out Of Five Series Isnt Bad

One play is all that was needed to show that Eli was going to be ok.  After taking the snap from center Eli looked around threw a nine yard completion to Darcy Johnson starting the qb on a perfect day.

The Giants took the openning kickoff and marched all the way down the field taking off over 8 minutes in the quarter before Ahmad Bradshaw scored a 1 yard touchdown run. 

The next possession Eli showed that he can throw a deep ball as he connected 43 yard bomb to Steve Smith.  Two Ahmad Bradshaw runs latter the Giants are up 14-0. 

After yet another 3 and out by the Giants Defense the Giants offense had to go 94 yards to get another touchdown.  No problem as Eli Manning first connected on a 55 yard screen play to Ahmad Bradshaw and capped the drive off with a 30 yard touchdown pass to Mario Manningham.  21-0 Gmen

The defense will again set up another score as Jason Tuck sacked stripped JaMarcus Russell of the ball at the Raiders 13. Two Brandon Jacobs runs got the Giants to the Riaders 9 before Eli hit first round pick Hakeem Nicks with his second touchdown of the season to got up 28-0. 

Eli was bascially done after this as his fifth possession consisted of 4 Brandon Jacobs rushes for 17 yards before the Giants punted for the first time with 7 minutes remainning in the first half.  Eli then got the rest of the day off as the Giants crusied to another easy victory final score 44-7.

Game balls: Eli Manning perfect passer rating 8-10 2 tds. 

Ahmad Bradshaw 2 touchdowns, 150+ total offense

Jonathan Goff 4 special teams tackles

The Giants defensive line 3 sacks, three force fumbles.  Stuffed the Raiders rushing attack.

Problems needed to work out:

Brandon Jacobs still seeing 8 and 9 man fronts.  Maybe its time to put both Bradshaw and Jacobs in the backfield together to confuse the defense. 

Red zone scoring.  Yet again stalling in the redzone. I'll give the game a pass because it might have looked as if we were running it up against the Raiders. 

Other notes:

No additions as of yet to the injury report.  Finally a game without losing someone.  Ahmad Bradshaw did miss some time with a back injury but returned to the game. 

Clint Sintim played in his first game of the season adding three tackles.  Adding another speed rusher to this defensive line. 

Lawrence Tynes will not have to worry about losing his job this week as he made all of his kicks this week.  3-3 on field goals and 5-5 on PATS.  More points to the NFLs points scorer.

Next week off to New Orleans in the battle of undefeated.
