Chantel Osahor Traded to Lynx; Sky Acquire Keisha Hampton
The Minnesota Lynx acquired forward Chantel Osahor from the Chicago Sky on Friday in exchange for guard Keisha Hampton, the team announced on Twitter.
Osahor, a product of the University of Washington, was selected 21st overall by the Sky during Thursday night's draft.
Osahor will now join a Lynx team that is primed for even more improvement on the glass a year after they ranked third overall in total rebounds per game (35.8) and sixth in offensive boards a night (9.7).

During her 2016-17 season with the Huskies, Osahor led all NCAA players in rebounding with 15.3 boards per night. To put that number in perspective, runner-up G'Mrice Davis of Fordham averaged 12.8. Furthermore, Osahor hauled in 519 total rebounds—83 clear of Davis.
Hampton, meanwhile, will hope to carve out a steadier role with the Sky after she was relegated to playing 6.8 minutes a night last season. A former second-round pick, Hampton averaged 2.6 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists while shooting 33.3 percent from the field and from three during her first WNBA season.
