Phillies Pitching Prospect Elniery Garcia Suspended 80 Games for Failed PED Test

Philadelphia Phillies pitching prospect Elniery Garcia was suspended 80 games Friday for violating Major League Baseball's policy against performance-enhancing drugs.
According to Dan Linden of ABC News, MLB announced in a statement that Garcia tested positive for Boldenone.
The 22-year-old Garcia was recently placed on the seven-day disabled list at Double-A Reading due to shoulder fatigue.

He made 19 starts at High-A Clearwater last season, posting a 12-4 mark with a 2.68 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 91 strikeouts in 117.2 innings pitched.
