
Shining Stars, Jinder Mahal Sent to WWE SmackDown in Superstar Shake-Up
The Shining Stars and Jinder Mahal are the newest members of SmackDown Live after making the jump from Raw as part of WWE's Superstar Shake-up.
The Shining Stars arrived to deliver a beatdown to American Alpha following their defeat to The Usos. WWE provided a replay of the attack:

Mahal, meanwhile, had a singles match with Mojo Rawley:
Mahal continued to be victimized by New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. After he delivered a shoulder block to Mahal at WrestleMania 33, Gronk threw a drink in his face, a role reversal of the incident that precipitated Gronk's WrestleMania involvement:
The Shining Stars' appearance was far more meaningful, though. SmackDown is in desperate need of established tag teams, especially after one half of the Vaudevillains, Simon Gotch, left the company altogether.
Although the Shining Stars weren't a serious title threat on Raw, that could change on SmackDown.
The Usos should be the blueprint for Primo and Epico. Jimmy and Jey Uso were essentially treading water before they turned heel and feuded with American Alpha. Now, they're one of the best tag teams in WWE, period.
A similar revival could be in store for the Shining Stars.
