The Miz and Maryse, Dean Ambrose Sent to WWE Raw in Superstar Shake-Up

On a night that promises to be full of surprises, The Miz and Dean Ambrose provided the first shock Monday night on Raw, changing their allegiances from SmackDown Live. 

The WWE formally announced their arrivals on Raw:

Miz and his wife, Maryse, were dressed as John Cena and Nikki Bella, which initially caused confusion for Ambrose. WWE shared a replay of his interaction with the duo:

The Miz has certainly earned a move to WWE's flagship show. He and Maryse were excellent during their rivalry with Cena and Nikki. Before that, the A-Lister had a memorable feud with Dolph Ziggler and delivered one of the best promos in years with his diatribe against Daniel Bryan last August on Talking Smack:

Ambrose, on the other hand, has languished a bit more on SmackDown since dropping the WWE Championship to AJ Styles at Backlash last September.

His rivalry with Baron Corbin, in particular, was underwhelming and led to a forgettable match on the WrestleMania 33 pre-show.

Moving to Raw should be a refreshing change for Ambrose and exactly what he needs to break out of his current funk.
