Former Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins safety Louis Delmas was arrested early Monday morning for allegedly taunting police during his friend's DUI stop.

The arrest report added that Delmas' friend, Andry Madrigal, had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit at 0.164.

Delmas was arrested for resisting arrest without violence before posting $500 bond.

The former second-round pick out of Western Michigan spent the first five seasons of his career with the Lions before joining the Dolphins.

He suffered a knee injury late in the 2014 campaign and hasn't appeared in an NFL game since then.
