Does Reaching 3,000 Hits Make Beltre and Pujols Locks for the Hall of Fame?

Opening Day is finally here. The 2017 MLB season could see two players reach the historic 3,000 hit club and a huge boost in their Hall of Fame resumes.

Texas Rangers 3B Adrian Beltre will start the season on the DL, but 3,000 hits is still within grasp. He'd have to have one of his best seasons in recent years, but Angels star Albert Pujols could also reach 3,000 hits.
