Phillies Rookie Brock Stassi Brought to Tears After He Makes the 25-Man Roster

Philadelphia Phillies rookie first baseman Brock Stassi was overcome with emotion while speaking with reporters after learning he made the club's 25-man roster for the start of the 2017 season Thursday.

"Dream come true," Stassi said before pausing, apologizing and then wiping tears from his eyes as he settled himself to speak more about the past month of his career.

"Good spring," the 27-year-old continued. "I'm going to celebrate tonight, but it's not done. I don't just want to get there. I want to stay there."
