Tom Brady Picks LeBron James as NBA Star He'd Most Want on Patriots

LeBron James plays basketball. One of these days, everyone will accept this.

For now, though, everyone seems more obsessed with how the NBA icon would fare in other sports. Everyone from NHL head coach John Tortorella to the occasional Madden gamer is guilty of envisioning what-if scenarios that will never happen.

But in Tom Brady's defense, who else comes to mind when pressed to name the NBA player best suited for the gridiron?

The Cleveland Cavaliers star certainly displays the size (6'8", 250 lbs), speed and strength to dominate any sport of his choosing. In high school, he doubled as a star wide receiver who attracted recruiters from top college football programs. 

Curiously enough, Brady envisioned James as a tight end during Monday's media day. Nobody tell Rob Gronkowski or Martellus Bennett that the New England Patriots quarterback is imagining a replacement plan.
