For now, though, everyone seems more obsessed with how the NBA icon would fare in other sports. Everyone from NHL head coach John Tortorella to the occasional Madden gamer is guilty of envisioning what-if scenarios that will never happen.

Curiously enough, Brady envisioned James as a tight end during Monday's media day. Nobody tell Rob Gronkowski or Martellus Bennett that the New England Patriots quarterback is imagining a replacement plan.
