Rivea RuffJan 27, 2017

The Los Angeles Kings made one fan's dream of playing with his favorite team come true...sort of.

In a segment for The Ellen Degeneres Show, executive producer Andy Lassner got to experience a day in the life of a professional hockey player.

He did some warm-up drills and then suited up in full gear.

After Lassner waddled onto the ice, Anze Kopitar, Trevor Lewis and Tanner Pearson gave him a taste of what it's like to be an NHL goalie.

The producer had a few saves, which must've impressed the Kings at least a little—afterward, they pelted him with clappers (starts around the 3:55 mark).
