Joel Embiid Shuts Down Hornets Center Cody Zeller's Dunk with Massive Block

Better luck next time, Cody Zeller!

Joel Embiid delivered a massive block against the Charlotte Hornets center during the third quarter of the Philadelphia 76ers' game at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday night.

Zeller went for a dunk in hopes of breaking the 52-52 tie. 

But that wouldn't happen on Embiid's watch. The 76ers center jumped for the block, shutting down Zeller just inches from the rim. 

In fact, the swat was so powerful that it knocked both Embiid and Zeller on their backs. 

That one had to sting a little.
