Arsenal Transfer News: Julian Draxler 'Hesitating' over PSG Move, Latest Rumours
Julian Draxler will reportedly leave Wolfsburg in January and is making a decision on whether to move to Arsenal or Paris Saint-Germain, according to a source close to the German winger.
As reported by Le Parisien (via Get French Football News), a source has revealed that Draxler, 23, has yet to choose on where he will next play his football but is guaranteed to leave Wolfsburg: "Nothing is done. Julian is still hesitating between PSG and Arsenal. For the moment, he is thinking. A decision will be made in the coming days. One thing is certain, he has played his last match for Wolfsburg."

It has been inevitable for some time that Draxler would depart the Volkswagen Arena in the new year as his relationship with the Bundesliga club has soured intensely in the 2016-17 season, per Bild (h/t Sport Witness):
PSG and Arsenal are the two clubs who have been most heavily linked with him of late and are seemingly now the two options for where he will end up.
Per Le Parisien (via French football writer Jonathan Johnson), it recently looked as though PSG were in the driving seat to sign the Germany international for €30 million (£25.3 million):
However, Arsenal have reportedly also got an offer on the table, per the Sun's Daniel Cutts:
Per Joe Short of the Express, there was much talk that Draxler would move to the Emirates Stadium when he left Schalke in 2015 but he instead joined Wolfsburg for €35 million (£25.5 million), per the Guardian.
He has long been viewed as one of the most exciting talents in Europe and showed flashes of brilliance in his first season with Wolfsburg, most significantly in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg victory over Real Madrid back in April.
In 2016-17, though, Draxler has failed to net a Bundesliga goal in 13 appearances and Wolfsburg are struggling in 13th place.
It is clear that Draxler is not long for the club and a January move to Arsenal is becoming a realistic possibility.
With Alexis Sanchez having moved into the No. 9 role this season, Draxler could slot in easily on the left flank in Arsene Wenger's Arsenal side.
Alongside the Chilean, Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott, Draxler could form a very effective attacking unit and perhaps finally show he can consistently make good on his immense potential.
