Raptors Mascot Drops TV Giveaway Down Stairs

This is why Santa Claus uses reindeer and a sled to deliver gifts.

During the Toronto Raptors' Friday night contest against the Atlanta Hawks at Air Canada Centre, the team's mascot tried to deliver a TV to a lucky contest winner. It was probably not a cheap one either, as the arena's announcer described it as a "flat-screen LED smart TV."

The gift box was evidently not secured, as the giveaway fell out and slid down the stairs. That likely left some scratches.

Before we admonish The Raptor, let's acknowledge that hauling a large TV down stadium stairs while wearing a bulky mascot costume can't be easy. It's the thought that counts.
