Ryder Carried to Locker Room
Tuesday, Dec. 13
According to WWE.com, the wrestler was carried to the training room and needed crutches.
WWE's Dr. Chris Robinson provided an update on the injury:
"We think he injured his kneecap or his patella. We think it popped out and then popped back in, so we're just going to do an MRI to make sure that there is not cartilage damage or some tendon tearing, stuff like that. Hopefully there's not and it'll be a shorter rehab period. If there is, there's a different road we might have to go down that may take longer to get him to recover.

Ryder Injures Knee in Pivotal Contender Match
He and Mojo Rawley won the contender's Battle Royal and earned the right to face The Wyatt Family, who are the current tag team champions.
The 31-year-old first came on to the scene in the self-created YouTube series Z! True Long Island Story before earning enough fan support to rise through the ranks of professional wrestling.
Ryder most notably won the intercontinental title in a ladder match at WrestleMania 32 in April.
