Randy Bullock to Bengals: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction
Randy Bullock was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers following a single game with the team, but his stay in the AFC North is set to continue.
The Cincinnati Bengals announced Tuesday they signed Bullock and released kicker Mike Nugent following several games marred by misses.
"Mike is a tremendous teammate and has been an integral part of the Bengals for seven seasons," Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said, per the Cincinnati Enquirer's Paul Dehner Jr. "This was a difficult decision, but one we felt was in the best interest of the football team moving forward. We have enjoyed getting to know Mike over the years and wish him the best."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Nugent converted 18 of 19 field goals between 20 and 39 yards through 13 games, but he missed all three of his attempts from at least 50 yards out.
Furthermore, he proved to be a major liability on extra-point tries. The 34-year-old missed six point-after attempts—five of which came in the Bengals' last four games.
Bullock has been steadier in 2016 by comparison—albeit in a much smaller sample size.
The veteran journeyman has appeared in just two games this season as a spot starter for the Steelers and New York Giants, and he's proved consistent enough to earn a shot with the Bengals.
Bullock made two of three extra-point attempts in the Giants' Week 1 win over the Dallas Cowboys, and he followed up that effort by converting all three field goals and the one extra point he attempted for the Steelers in a 24-14 win over the Giants on Dec. 4.
And while Bullock doesn't have a huge leg, as evidenced by his 5-of-11 conversion rate from at least 50 yards over the course of his career, he's drilled 81.3 percent of his field goals and 95.8 percent of his 95 extra-point tries to date.
