Kenley Jansen Reportedly Re-Signs with Los Angeles Dodgers

Closer Kenley Jansen was one of the top free agents on the market this offseason, and the Los Angeles Dodgers ensured he didn't go anywhere.
Jim Bowden of ESPN and Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reported that the Dodgers and Jansen came to an agreement on a five-year contract worth $80 million.
Jansen, 29, was superb for the Dodgers in 2016, finishing 3-2 in 71 appearances with a 1.83 ERA, 0.67 WHIP, 104 strikeouts and 47 saves in 53 opportunities.

Jansen has established himself as one of the best closers in baseball with at least 25 saves in five straight seasons, 127 saves in the past three years alone and at least 80 strikeouts in six straight years.
