Indians vs. Cubs World Series Game 5: Live Score and Highlights
The Cleveland Indians took a commanding 3-1 series lead with a 7-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Saturday night, and on Sunday, they were looking to close things out and claim their first World Series title since 1948 with a win.
Standing in their way was Cubs ace Jon Lester, who was pitching on full rest after taking a loss in Game 1, when he made it just 5.2 innings and didn't have his best stuff.
The Indians countered with right-hander Trevor Bauer, who pitched on three days rest after taking the ball in Game 2. The bullpen was expected to be a factor for the Tribe once again, as manager Terry Francona has been leaning heavily on his relief corps all postseason.
