Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

Jared JohnsonOct 30, 2016

The Golden State Warriors won their second straight game Sunday night, taking down the Phoenix Suns 106-100 behind two big performances from their superstars.

It wasn't the prettiest contest by Golden State, as it struggled with turnovers and had most of its players struggling from the outside. However, Kevin Durant scored 37 points on 10-of-16 shooting and Stephen Curry had 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting, which was basically all the scoring punch the team needed to win.

The young Suns played an excellent game and actually led for the majority of the first half. T.J. Warren and Eric Bledsoe carried the scoring load, scoring 26 and 21 points, respectively. Phoenix used great effort to tally 10 steals and a 50-43 rebounding edge, which led to many extra scoring chances.

Golden State will be back in action Tuesday in Portland to wrap up its four-game road trip against the Trail Blazers. Phoenix, meanwhile, will not be able to rest and will be playing on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.
