Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Alexander Isak and Agustin Davila
Liverpool could reportedly face competition from Manchester United in the race to sign highly rated Swedish youngster Alexander Isak.
The Reds have been linked with the 17-year-old forward for some time, with Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reporting interest from Real Madrid, and other sources naming Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Leicester City as potential suitors (via Sport).
According to Swedish paper Expressen (via Kristian Walsh in the Liverpool Echo), United are set to enter the fray to sign AIK's Isak, dubbed the "next Zlatan Ibrahimovic."

Isak has enjoyed an excellent season for AIK in the 2016 Allsvenskan—the Solna outfit lie third in the table—netting nine goals in 21 league appearances and providing one assist, per WhoScored.com.
The youngster, who has represented Sweden at under-21 level, is predominantly an out-and-out striker but can also drop deeper if needs be to play in the No. 10 position.
As can be seen below, he is a physically imposing and athletic player:
Isak's link-up play and comfort on the ball are also excellent, so he could fit into Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp's intricate attacking setup.
With the Allsvenskan season set to finish in November, the January transfer window could be a good time for Liverpool to swoop for Isak, who has the talent to develop into a top-class player.
Klopp has a terrific record of developing youngsters, which could give Liverpool the edge if they enter a battle to sign him, but United are reportedly yet another top club the Reds may have to fight off for his signature.
Elsewhere, Uruguayan 17-year-old Agustin Davila is reportedly open to signing with Liverpool following the completion of his two-week trial with the Reds.
According to Naveen Ullal of IBTimes UK, the striker, currently attached to native club Atletico Penarol, has been tracked by Liverpool for the last two seasons and could now join the Anfield outfit after impressing in his recent spell with the Reds.
Per Ullal, Davila has been top scorer for youth side Juveniles Penarol at under-14, under-15 and under-17 level, and has already netted over 100 goals in his fledgling career.
MailOnline's Simon Jones reported earlier this month that the Uruguayan would be assessed during his trial by academy director Alex Inglethorpe and the Liverpool coaching staff.
If they have decided he is worth signing up, then, given Davila is reportedly open to the move, Liverpool could soon have a new attacking prospect at the club.
