Special teams are given the title "special" for a reason.
Penn State showed why in its 24-21 upset win over No. 2 Ohio State at Beaver Stadium on Saturday night.
First, the Nittany Lions blocked a punt with 11:42 left in the fourth quarter. Linebacker Cameron Brown's big play led to a field goal that cut Penn State's deficit to four points.
Then, with 4:27 left, safety Marcus Allen blocked a Buckeyes field-goal attempt, and cornerback Grant Haley took it 60 yards to the end zone for a go-ahead touchdown.
