Karl-Anthony Towns Takes Flight for the Putback Jam

KATs can fly.
Or at least the 2015-16 Rookie of the Year can.
After a historic rookie season, Minnesota Center Karl-Anthony Towns shows no signs of slowing down in his sophomore year. The former Kentucky big man put up 31 points and nine rebounds in 24 minutes Wednesday night against Marc Gasol and the Memphis Grizzlies.
In the first quarter of Friday night's game against the Charlotte Hornets, KAT added to his preseason highlight reel with an athletic putback dunk off a Zach LaVine miss.
The future appears to be bright for the young Wolves, led by new head coach Tom Thibodeau.
Who knows? Maybe Zach LaVine will have some Wolves competition in the 2016-17 Slam Dunk Contest.
