Clady Has Emerged as Key Piece to Jets O-Line

The fact that Clady has progressed to the point of putting in limited practices following an absence is a positive sign for a Jets offense that's looking to find some semblance of a rhythm on Sunday.ย

With Geno Smith now starting at quarterback following a 1-5 run under Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Jets will need their offensive lineโ€”anchored by Clady on the blind sideโ€”to protect the team's new signal-caller effectively against a pass rush that has tallied 11 sacks this season.ย

If the Jets can keep Baltimore's front seven at bay, they could experience some newfound success.ย
