LeBron James and Kevin Love reunite on the basketball court when the 2016-17 NBA season opens Tuesday night. Days before the Cleveland Cavaliers will accept their championship rings, the superstar mocked a 10-year-old photo of his teammate.

Slam shared a picture (shown above) of the Cavs forward from 2006, when he attended Lake Oswego High School in Oregon. James did not approve of the sneaker choice an 18-year-old Love made:

Not everyone had the attention of every major shoe company in high school. Also, looks aren't everything. Maybe the shoes were really comfortable.

It's of course all in jest, but one would think shutting down Stephen Curry late in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals would earn Love fashion immunity in regards to decade-old footwear.
