Cubs Infielder Javier Baez Steals Home in Game 1 of NLCS

Javier Baez is an exciting baseball player. He's earned that reputation because he does things such as stealing home plate, like he did in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series on Saturday.

After turning a blooper into an RBI double, the Chicago Cubs infielder found himself at third base following a wild pitch. Baez took a running lead and was caught too far off the bag. But when Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Carlos Ruiz threw to third, Baez simply kept going and made it home safely.

The 23-year-old became the first player to do so in a postseason game at Wrigley Field:
