Notre Dame's Drue Tranquill Has Overcome 2 ACL Tears to Start at Safety

Junior safety Drue Tranquill is the definition of tough. Suffering two separate ACL tears within 10 months of each other, Tranquill battled through adversity and has retaken the field in 2016 as Notre Dame's starting safety.

This season, Drue started the "5th Quarter," an event in which he hopes to share his story of perseverance with the local South Bend, Indiana, community and help inspire others.
