Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Philippe Coutinho and Sergio Ramos
Liverpool have reportedly informed Paris Saint-Germain that star man Philippe Coutinho is "not for sale at any price" after the French giants revived their interest in the player. Meanwhile, the Reds are understood to be keen on Sergio Ramos.
According to the Mirror's Warren Haughton, Liverpool have told PSG not to bother making a return offer for Coutinho after they failed with a £22.5 million bid for the Brazilian during the summer transfer window.
PSG are described as "long-term admirers" of the former Inter Milan ace, but the Merseysiders aren't willing to budge as they seek to retain the services of arguably their most valuable asset.

Spirits are high at Anfield as the Reds sit two points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, and Liverpool writer Dave O'Connell attested to the positive vibes currently emitting from the squad:
Manager Jurgen Klopp has benefited greatly from Coutinho's influence from the left flank during his first year in charge of the club, but PSG present a real threat in the transfer market when it comes to Coutinho.
The 24-year-old has scored four goals in eight appearances for Liverpool this season, an average of a goal every other game, and Brazil manager Tite recently detailed just how valuable his playmaker is to the national team:
PSG already have a stable of Brazilian stars under their command with the likes of Thiago Silva, Lucas Moura and Marquinhos in the side, and Liverpool could struggle to resist a highly lucrative offer should it arrive.
Elsewhere, Spanish outlet Diario Gol (h/t Daily Star's Thomas McIlroy) reported Liverpool are keen on Ramos, who is reportedly free to leave Real Madrid. The official UEFA Euro account recently attested to the kind of experienced star the Reds might be getting their hands on:

Ramos' stock is said to have fallen at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, and according to the latest reports, club president Florentino Perez would consider selling his star while he can still get a "substantial fee" for his signature.
The 30-year-old is currently on the treatment table after injuring his knee on international duty, although there is evidence to suggest Real are better off without their club captain, via Bleacher Report UK:
Klopp has already invested in his defence this past summer, bringing in Joel Matip on a free transfer and Augsburg's Ragnar Klavan for a little more than £4.2 million, although Ramos would require a much heftier sum.
McIlroy's report mentioned the Reds "value Ramos' experience and character," but with the likes of Bayern Munich and PSG also said to be in the hunt, the English outfit could find themselves priced out of a move.
