Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Bruma and Marcelo Allende
Arsenal are reportedly set to go up against north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their bid to sign Galatasaray winger Bruma. Elsewhere, Chilean youngster Marcelo Allende is attracting the Gunners' attention.
The Mirror's Liam Corless sourced a report from Squawka, which claimed Arsenal and Spurs are two of the Premier League clubs interested in Bruma following his fine start to the 2016-17 campaign.

The 21-year-old is said to be valued at £20 million by his club, which could be willing to cash in on its star's signature this January after it came to light that Bruma has stalled contract negotiations.
Arsenal and Tottenham aren't the only English outfits thought to be interested in the player, either, after Turkish Football's Emre Sarigul reported that his form has attracted suitors of a similar magnitude:
The Portugal international's current deal is poised to expire in the summer of 2018, and Gala could be tempted into selling before then amid fears the attacker might run his deal down in Istanbul.
Theo Walcott's rise back to form means the need for wide reinforcements at the Emirates Stadium is no longer quite as great, although with Alexis Sanchez playing through the middle, there is space on the wing.
Bleacher Report's Dean Jones provided a little more context on the throng of Premier League teams thought to be on Bruma's trail:
Meanwhile, the Gunners could be close to recruiting another South American ace after it came to light that Chile under-17 captain Allende is still on the north Londoners' radar.
According to the Sun (h/t Charlie Philippe of the Daily Express), Wenger has "kept an eye on the youngster's progress" after he had a trial with Arsenal earlier this year, and Scouts In Attendance reinforced those reports:
Allende is currently playing as a midfielder for Union Santa Cruz but once played for Cobreloa, the club at which current Gunners heavyweight Sanchez got his first taste of senior action in his native Chile.
Allende has spent two loan spells with the Gunners and has remained on their list of priorities to this point, suggesting that the capital club hold a strong interest and could make good on their enquiries in 2017.
