Arsenal Transfer News: Santi Cazorla, Juventus Talks Reported in Latest Rumours
Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is reportedly in talks with Juventus over a potential move to the Serie A outfit in the summer after his Gunners contract expires.
According to CalcioMercatoWeb (via James Cambridge in the Express), Juve have approached Cazorla in an attempt to prevent him signing a new Arsenal deal, which has yet to be offered by the north London club.
The 31-year-old Spaniard would reportedly be part of an overhaul in midfield at the Old Lady, which could also see Zenit Saint Petersburg's Axel Witsel move to Turin.

Cazorla's current deal at the Emirates Stadium expires in June 2017, and he has yet to be tied to an extension, despite his continuing importance to manager Arsene Wenger's side.
The Spaniard recently said he would be happy to remain with the Gunners beyond the summer, per Cadena SER (via Cambridge): "If they’ll offer me a new contract, I’ll sign it because I am very happy with this great club. I am happy here. I am trusted by the manager and my team-mates."
News of Juventus' interest in the diminutive Spain international will surely spark Arsenal into action over offering him a new deal.
Cazorla has played in each of Arsenal's seven Premier League matches so far this season and made a telling contribution as the Gunners have started well, per Squawka:
Alongside Francis Coquelin, he makes up an effective deep-lying midfield pair who will be crucial as Arsenal pursue the Premier League title this season.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil more regularly make the headline contributions for the Gunners, but Cazorla's intelligence on the ball is equally valuable.
It is little surprise that Juventus are looking to swoop for him and take advantage of his contract running down, as he would be a fine addition to their squad.
Cazorla will be 32 in December, but he still has plenty to offer at Arsenal, and it would be a big blow if they were to lose him in the summer.
The presence of Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny, Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey in the squad bodes well for the future of Arsenal's midfield engine room.
But Cazorla is still a vital player, and the longer he is not offered a new deal, the more likely it will become that he will leave Arsenal at the end of the season.
