Lions QB Matthew Stafford Loses Helmet During Sack vs. Eagles
Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has taken his fair share of sacks in his eight-year career, but there haven't been many like the one he took against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
On a 3rd-and-9 late in the second quarter, the Eagles' Connor and Fletcher Cox got to Stafford and took him down for an eight-yard loss. On the play, Cox pulled the Lions quarterback's helmet off.
While helmets occasionally come off during plays, they don't always lead to such great photos:

Cox was flagged for a personal foul on the play, turning fourth down and a field-goal try into a first down. That turned out to be a costly penalty, as Stafford threw a touchdown pass a couple of plays later.
Those four extra points were huge, as Detroit won the game 24-23.
