Golden State Warriors Unveil Bobblehead Giveaways for 2016-17 Season
In addition to seeing five NBA All-Stars and two share the court, Golden State Warriors fans have an opportunity to snag lifelike at Oracle Arena.
The planned giveaways include newcomer Kevin Durant and late legend Nate Thurmond, who passed away in July. Golden State will also honor him by wearing a No. 42 patch on its jerseys all season.
The Andre is especially intricate. While highlighting his love of golf, the veteran's also sports virtual reality goggles. It's fitting given the team's Silicon Valley roots and his interest in technological advances.
"Most of the time, we as players are 10 steps behind, so I just wanted to make sure we were keeping up with trends and eventually getting ahead of things to come," said, per the San Francisco Chronicle's Benny .
