Curtis Granderson Saves Mets with Long Sprint, Catch at the Wall

San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt probably thought he gave the Giants a 1-0 lead over the New York Mets in the top of the sixth inning of Wednesday's National League Wild Card Game. New York center fielder Curtis Granderson decided to spoil Belt's moment.
With a runner on second and two outs in the top of the sixth, Belt hit a fly ball to straightaway center and the deepest part of the park. Granderson jumped on his horse and covered a massive amount of ground before making a spectacular catch on the warning track. Granderson then did well to maintain possession of the ball as he crashed into the wall, to the delight of Mets fans at Citi Field.
