While WWE 2K17 is packed with new features, perhaps the biggest draw for wrestling fans is the fact it boasts the biggest roster ever for a WWE video game.

In addition to most of the current roster members on Raw, SmackDown and NXT being represented, there are many legends included, which will allow gamers to create some of the all-time dream matches that never came to be.

Each wrestler has also been given a rating, and that naturally sparks debate among fans since they tend to believe their favorites deserve a boost.

Although the developers seemingly got most of the ratings right, here is a closer look at some of the most underrated Superstars in the game.

Most Underrated Superstars

Kevin Owens (86)

While a rating of 86 may seem fairly high on the surface, Kevin Owens is now a bona fide main eventer as WWE universal champion, and he is deserving of an even higher rating to match.

The developers deserve a pass since Owens likely didn't become universal champion until after the finishing touches were already completed, but he has been one of the most complete and dominant in-ring performers WWE has to offer since his debut in NXT.

KO's rival and former best friend Sami Zayn has a rating of 87, and while Zayn is a top talent who once held the NXT Championship, he has yet to win gold on the main roster and fell to Owens in their most recent meeting.

A rating around the 90 mark or above would make more sense for Owens than his current mark of 86, but WWE 2K17 owners can make things right if they so choose by editing the ratings themselves.

Andre the Giant (80)

Legends tend to get a great deal of respect on the ratings scale for WWE 2K games, but the late Andre the Giant wasn't so lucky, as he was given a rating of just 80 in WWE 2K17.

Andre isn't among the most decorated Superstars in WWE history, as he enjoyed only a short reign with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and a run as tag team champion along with Haku as one half of The Colossal Connection.

The 7'4", 500-pound giant will always be remembered as one of the greatest spectacles in the history of professional wrestling, however, and he rarely ever lost a match over the course of his career aside from his rivalry with Hulk Hogan.

While the version of Andre featured in WWE 2K17 is that of the latter portion of his career, he is still an all-time great who should have a rating at least 10 points higher than his current mark.

Chad Gable (79)

Chad Gable is one half of American Alpha along with tag team partner Jason Jordan, and although he is among the most technically sound wrestlers in WWE, he came away with a rating of only 79 in WWE 2K17.

Gable's rating is somewhat understandable considering he is part of a tag team and has only been on the main roster as a member of SmackDown for a few months, but his ability and charisma are undeniable.

American Alpha quickly became one of NXT's most popular acts, and the duo of Gable and Jordan enjoyed an NXT Tag Team Championship reign because of that.

Also, Gable was a standout wrestler at Northern Michigan University, and he was part of the United States Olympic team at the 2012 Summer Games in London.

Gable is a legitimate grappler who can take down men twice his size, and although his WWE 2K17 rating doesn't necessarily reflect that, he should have a great year ahead of him, which figures to lead to a significant boost in WWE 2K18.
