Notre Dame vs. Syracuse: Live Score, Highlights for Fighting Irish vs. Orange
Notre Dame 50, Syracuse 33—Final
There was a lot of good offense and a lot of bad defense, but it was Notre Dame that came up with more stops in the 50-33 victory over Syracuse.
The Irish were led by DeShone Kizer, who lit up the Syracuse defense for 471 passing yards and three touchdowns. His favorite target was Equanimeous St. Brown, who finished with 182 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Syracuse was in this game at halftime, but it could not come up with the needed stops. It was a big day for the Orange offense, though. Quarterback Eric Dungey led the way with 363 passing yards, 49 rushing yards and five total touchdowns. Wide receiver Amba Etta-Tawo added 134 receiving yards.
It wasn't a dominating effort for Notre Dame, but the Irish should be happy to get back on track after the Duke loss.
