Chicago Cubs Fan Gets 2016 World Series Champions Tattoo

All long-suffering Chicago Cubs fans will anxiously root for them to win their first World Series championship in over a century. For one optimistic supporter, the stakes are especially high.

The radio station 1460 KXnO in Des Moines, Iowa, hosted a contest to see which fearless fan would permanently decorate his or her body with a memento from a triumph that has not yet happened.

A fan named Noel stepped up to the plate. Per 1460 KXnO's Facebook page, he talked about the bold decision:

"They're set to win it. They will win it," he said. "If they don't, I still have a pretty awesome tattoo."

At least it's on his leg in a spot he can cover with pants. Just don't attend any summer games at Wrigley Field if they don't win it all this fall.
