Gianni VerschuerenSep 28, 2016

Manchester United starlet Marcus Rashford has revealed he is learning a lot from veteran forward and team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He also said his best memory in the iconic red shirt so far was the derby win over Manchester City last season, in which he scored the winner.

The teenager sat down with Spencer FC to talk about the upcoming FIFA 17 video game and made a number of revelations during a Q&A session.

Per Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News, he talked about the impact Ibrahimovic has had on his game, explaining how just watching him in training is helpful: "He's probably helped me improve more than what he thinks. Without even saying anything, just me watching him, his hold up play and how he dictates his game. There's a lot more to learn."

Ibrahimovic has been a smash hit since arriving at Old Trafford, scoring on his Premier League debut against Bournemouth and doing a fine job of spearheading the Red Devils attack.

Rashford has also been a big factor, however. The youngster has frequently been used as a winger, but his scoring numbers haven't suffered as a result.

Per Squawka Football, he remains as efficient as ever in front of goal:

While he's yet to pair the Swede in a formation using two strikers, club legend and Sky Sports' Gary Neville believes he and Ibrahimovic fit together well enough for it to work, as reported by ESPN FC's Arindam Rej: “Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rashford seem to be a fit. Those two could eventually end up playing together. Ibrahimovic is clever enough to find the runs of Rashford. Rashford is clever. He isn't just a runner and a finisher.”

The England international also talked about his tendency to score debut goals, something he has now done on six occasions, both for United and the English national team. He has no real explanation, saying: "I don't know what it is. I think the mixture of the team, you're a bit nervous, but you want to do well so without knowing you try a bit more."

He praised Arsenal's Hector Bellerin for being the quickest player he has ever faced and picked Paul Pogba's hairstyle when asked to choose between the Frenchman, Ibrahimovic and Marouane Fellaini.

Rashford also picked Pogba in a dab-contest between the former Juventus man and Jesse Lingard, although he acknowledged the latter's technique is more “fluent.”
