
Davon Godchaux to Return to LSU Following Arrest
LSU Tigers defensive tackle Davon Godchaux had charges against him dropped Tuesday after he was arrested Monday morning and charged with "domestic abuse battery/child endangerment and false imprisonment."
Ross Dellenger of the Advocate reported the news regarding Godchaux's legal trouble and on Wednesday, interim head coach Ed Orgeron told reporters Godchaux would return to the team after being indefinitely suspended.
Dellenger first reported word of Godchaux's arrest.

The junior was released from the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison in Louisiana on a $20,000 bond, according to Jim Kleinpeter of the Times-Picayune.
"Deputies wrote in arrest documents, Godchaux and his girlfriend were fighting over infidelity. The woman said as she tried to leave the apartment with their 10-month-old, Godchaux twice grabbed her - once by her hair and a second time by the shoulder - and tossed her backwards. The unidentified woman said Godchaux refused to let her leave the apartment.
An investigator wrote the woman had a swollen lip and marks near her throat. Godchaux, too, had a cut lip.
